We are really looking forward to working with you. let's get started.
Meet Natalie Collins, PT, DPT, COMT, BikePT
Natalie is wired to communicate, to narrate, and to educate. Where curiosity meets creativity, Natalie is there at the heart, fostering her passion for movement correction, cycling, and physical therapy. Her imagination is explored through observing human behavior and how it interacts with the mechanical world, and she capitalizes on her reflections by expressing herself in modern ways: podcasts, Facebook, or her website, pedalfitpt.com. Natalie takes pride in stepping out of the norm that is “rehabilitation” and carving a new path in the bike fitting and physical therapy world.
Determined to cultivate the best version of herself, Natalie has assimilated her upbringing, education, and personal reflections with a desire to carve out a niche for her professional practice and personal growth. Natalie grew up with mid-western family values, where she learned about love, grit, and passion. Through a Bachelors in Kinesiology, Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT), Gold level BikePT Bike Fit Certification (BikePT), dry needling certification Cert. FDN, advanced Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT), and near completion of her McKenzie Method® of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy® (MDT). Natalie has been honing her craft. She carries her appreciation for unique cultures, ideas, and human interaction and her advanced physical therapy training to Colorado (over a decade ago), where she has planted her roots among fellow adventurists and progressive thinkers.
Bike fitting has offered Natalie the platform to explore her distinctive skill set. As a result of personal experience with injuries, orthopedic surgeries, and rehabilitation as a Division I basketball player, she took up cycling to fill her competitive void and fell in love. Through such experiences she is left with open ears and compassion to help others. Natalie's vast experience has shaped her into the movement expert and biomechanics vigilante she is during her bike fit sessions and in her physical therapy practice. She demonstrates dedication and commitment throughout the bike fit process as a cyclist acquires the knowledge and ability to move forward with a new level of cycling and movement. She educates and supports cyclists of all levels until the best state of comfort and understanding is found.
